Connect TherapistsNearMe to your AI assistant
You can search this directory from inside Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants. We run an open, read-only MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the standard assistants use to talk to live services), so your assistant can look up verified therapists with current fees, languages and cities instead of guessing from stale web pages.
The endpoint
https://mcp.therapistsnearme.in/api/mcpFree, read-only, no account or key needed. It only serves what is already public on this site: published profiles and filter options, with the registration numbers you can check yourself.
Add it to Claude
- Open claude.ai (or the Claude desktop app) and go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose "Add custom connector" and paste the endpoint URL above.
- That's it. In any chat, ask something like "find me a Hindi-speaking therapist in Mumbai under ₹2,000" and Claude will search the live directory.
Add it to ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and enable developer mode if it isn't already on.
- Add a new connector with the endpoint URL above. Other assistants that support MCP work the same way.
What your assistant can do with it
Three read-only tools: search the directory by concern, city, language, budget, gender and mode; fetch one therapist's full public profile including credentials and registration numbers; and list the available filter options. Every response reminds the assistant that we are a directory, not a healthcare provider, and carries India's Tele-MANAS crisis line, 14416.
Why this is safe to use
The server only reads. It cannot book, message anyone, or see anything about you; your conversation stays between you and your assistant. And every professional it returns was credential-verified before listing, the same standard as the rest of this site.
